As a fashion and style expert, I get to do lots of super-exciting things, like scope out the season's hottest trends and collaborate with ultra-talented designers. But when it comes to my job, there's nothing I enjoy more than styling and working with real women.

Summer Fun at the Park

Be sure to check out your local parks in your area. Many parks have water features to keep the kids cool and entertained while moms and dads can also join in on the fun. Make sure you apply sunscreen and wear a hat. You can even make it a fun outing by packing a picnic lunch for a low budget fun family event.

Summer Fun on a Budget

So now that the summer is here and the kids are out of school, it is up to mom to have to entertain the little ones. Since money can be tight for alot of families, some of the best ways to spend quality time with the kiddos for less than nothing is right at your fingertips.

Great summer boredom busters:
Check out your local library as many offer free programs such as crafts and story hour as well as reading programs that often kids can earn rewards such as free books.

If you check out your local Borders and Barnes and Noble Bookstores, they are offering a summer reading program in which your child reads a certain amount of books and you list the titles and sign the form and once the books have been read, you present the form at your local store and your child can select a free book of their very own. Not too shabby!

Local movie theaters offer special early screenings at reduced prices. Be sure to check out your local theaters for more details.
